How about a weekend where you feel the city of textiles “Hamamatsu”?
“Everybody’s Hamamatsu Collection” will be held on 14th and 15th May, 28th in the interchange space “ANY” in the city of Hamamatsu. On that day, citizen groups working in the town of fibers of Hamamatsu gathered together and will exhibit and sell miscellaneous goods and clothing using the fabric of Hamamatsu. Also, fashion shows and stage events were held, and there are plenty to see!

It was held from 2007, and the 17th time is celebrated “Enzu cotton tansum warmth million city.” This time we have more than 20 exhibitors, we arrange a wide range of items ranging from fabrics to sundries and clothes. We also hold workshops by popular shops every time.
What is the Enjo Stripe project …?
Started activities in 2004 as volunteer “distant stone project” by volunteers and business owners. In April 2016, in order to further strengthen the foundation of activity, we are promoting the incorporation of specified nonprofit activities from voluntary organizations.

What’s Hamamatsu shirt part …?
Hamamatsu Shirt part is an arbitrary organization that was established in October 2012 to make Hamamatsu “from the textile town” to “the town of shirt”. Members of various positions such as clothing writers, merchant makers, sundries shops, housewives, etc. are active with ideas through free thought. In addition to organizing exhibition and sale meetings five or six times a year, making shirts Planning and managing tours around classrooms, manufacturing sites and so on, we actively engage in citizen’s eyes.

What is itoshimachi project …?
We call “work related to textiles” such as spinning, synthetic fiber, woven fabrics, “Itohen”. After World War II, HAMAMATSU developed “Growing up due to the remarkable growth of the textile industry”. “Otomachi Project” was born with producers gathering around Yamato and kimono at Hamamatsu. Look at actual dyeing weaving products such as “Yukata Yukata” made by traditional craftsmanship, or “Enzo Cotton Tunsi” which is handed down even now. Touch it! I want you to know!
